About the Artist
I’m a New York–based artist with a lifelong connection to creativity and visual storytelling. While I explored art early on, I began pursuing painting more intentionally in recent years.
Oil painting allows me to build depth and atmosphere, while watercolor offers movement and spontaneity. My work is inspired by the places I’ve traveled — from the rugged beauty of Norway to the coastal light of San Diego and summers in Denver. I translate those landscapes into paintings that capture a sense of wonder and light, inviting viewers to feel immersed in each place.
I work from my own photography, using images captured during my travels as the foundation for each piece. This process allows me to reinterpret real places through color, texture, and perspective.
While my artistic journey began with detailed animal portraits, it has since evolved into expansive landscapes shaped by travel and memory — pieces that reflect not only where I’ve been, but the feeling of being there.
